XM/PFP Software Change History

The Version History of XM and XM PFP Software is listed below.  The software currently installed on a system can be found by navigating to the Software Versions screen.  Details on this screen can be found in Appendix A of XM operation instruction manual 312359 or XM PFP operation instruction manual 3A2776.  XM and XM PFP systems should match one of the following system versions.

Some XM systems may use an older version of software from token 16A265. For information on this software see, "XM - Software Version History", below. For more information on updating from this software, see "XM - Updating to 17E110 software".

Some XM PFP systems may use an older version of software from token 16P644. For information on this software see, "XM PFP - Software Version History", below.
Graco recommends that systems be updated to the newest version of software to allow use of all new features.

If upgrade to newer software version is desired, order the appropriate "Software Upgrade Token" as listed below.  This Upgrade Token is used to upgrade software on all of the system components per the procedure described in the XM repair instruction manual 313289 or XM PFP repair instruction manual 3A2989.

NOTE: Upgrading software will clear all USB data (i.e. pump cycles, material volume, etc.)  It is recommended that a full USB download be completed before upgrading software.

  • The Ratio Mode display screen has been significantly updated and includes dosing size and flow rate information.
  • The Alarm Information screen has been updated with new diagnostic information, including supply voltages, dose sizes, reed switch sensor state and linear position..
  • Air motor reed switch missing advisory (DLA, DLB) was added.
  • Air motor linear sensor jump advisory (DMA, DMB) was added.
  • Dosing size A advisory (B3A) and Alarm (B4A) was added.
  • Enabling the Fast Dosing checkbox will lower the Dosing Size A advisory from 35 cc to 20 cc,  and alarm from 45 cc to 30 cc. The software will attempt to hold the dosing sizes below the advisory level. This is used for faster-setting materials.
  • The dosing valves can now operate faster and provide smaller doses for better mixing.
  • USB download depth units reduced from days to hours.
  • Advisories will not give audible alarm and jump to Alarm Information screen (except Pot Life N4D).
  • The USB Spray and Data logs have been updated with much more information and commands, and the Command log has been eliminated.
