The Version History of the PR70 Software is listed below. The software currently installed on the PR70 can be found by navigating to the setup system screen of the ADM or the maintenance screen on a standard display module.
To upgrade to a newer software version, order the appropriate “Software Upgrade Token” as listed below. This Upgrade token is used to upgrade software on all of the system components per the procedure described in maintenance section of PR70 instruction manual 312759 (Advanced Display) or 312393 (Standard Display)..
See instruction manual 312759 (Advanced Display) or 312393 (Standard Display) for complete details on the PR70 system. The latest revision manual can be found at graco.com.

New ADM, FCM3 and USB (in New ADM) – Made the following improvements to the product:
a. The logic which changed the Auto-Refill mode from “High Level..” or “Empty.. ” auto refill to “Manual Auto Refill” mode when a fill was aborted (from a time out condition, or if aborted by the user) was removed.
b.Logic to generate a “Record” or “Advisory” level error/ Event was added to record if a “Manual Fill Instigated” occurred, or a “Fill Aborted Before Done” condition occurs.
c. Logic was added to all Auto Fill modes (High, Empty and Accumulator) to instigate an automatic fill operation when material reached the low level sensor if the previous fill was aborted, unless the previous fill was aborted with material below the low level sensor. For this condition, the user will need to instigate a manual fill when the empty supply condition is resolved.
d. Logic was added to the Accumulator fill feature to generate “Level Sensor Error” if both the low and high level sensor magnets detect material.
3. The PLC interface logic pertaining to the shot selection control bits was improved, based on test results performed on the PR70F product.
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
New ADM & FCM3 - Per the request of a distributor, a "Low Level Alarm Time" user entry feature was added to allow a user to delay a Low Level Alarm X minutes after the condition is detected.
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
New ADM & FCM3 – Added a Light Tower option, removed necessity for the Blue Run Token (P/N: LC0135), fixed a displayed revision issue, simplified the flow meter/ Ratio Monitoring logic to operate with additional meters, and corrected some other error generation issues.
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
New ADM – Fixed screen saver issue that occurred when the screen would turn off after 5 minutes regardless if the screen saver was set to 0 (disabled) or greater than 5 minutes.
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
New ADM – Fixed sequencing issue that only occurs with shot 1. Any sequence that included ONLY shot 1, the display would not show any shots in that sequence. Shots 2-50 did not cause the issue and if shots 2-50 were included in a sequence that contained shot 1 the sequence was determined valid.
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
New ADM – Fixed intermittent white screen issue. Re-classified all the “No Temperature Rise” errors from Alarm to Deviation Classifications. Added logic to only show the “Low Level” and “High Level” fill control options on the Options 1 setup screen, depending upon if the machine has 1 or 2 FCM3 installed, to simplify understanding of the tank options for the user.
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
FCM3 & New ADM – Fixed a few level sensor issues which were encountered during production.
Release date: September 5, 2012
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
FCM3 & New ADM – Made Low Level Tank Error generation, independent of each side. Added “Level Sensor Problem” error code to account for condition when material sensed at high, but not low-level sensor. Added interlock to prevent refill operation at boot up during the ADM splash screen. Fixed other misc. auto-refill issues, and tank fill options on the Manual setup screen.
Release date: June 20, 2012
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
Display Module – Fixed issue saving Low Level Sensor feature state after power up. FCM3 – Added capability to the “Interrupt – Cancel Line”, to disable machine if held active.
Release date: May 6, 2012
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
Display Module and ADM – Updated component driver in display module, to address a contrast issue. In the ADM, fixed issue where the ADM would generate temperature-related errors if a heat zone was turned OFF (or disabled).
Release date: Feb. 6, 2012
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
ADM & Old ADM – Fixed issues concerning the use and generation of the low temperature alarms on the ADM, and using the “Disable Dispense w/ Low Temp.” feature. This feature would produce an oscillatory response of the “Ready_OUT” signal (on the PLC interface) to the user when a low temperature condition would exist for a zone and the feature turned ON.
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
TCM: – Updated to Fix bug found during the NVH GMS Development.
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
16M411, 16F532, 15V024 – Added Pressure limiting and display capability to user. Added additional logging capability to the USB (New ADM Only, Logging of dispense pressures, etc…), and event logs. Updated system screen to new P/N format. Added Pressure UOM selection to Options 1 Screen. Added “Disable Pump Timeout Error” option to the Options 3 screen. Fixed Accumulator filling & other miscellaneous bugs. 15M410 – Added Over and Bad Pressure transducer alarms (Errors 51 – 54). Added same Disable Pump Timeout Error option to the Maintenance 3 screen.
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
16F532 – Updates to the ADM software were incorporated, transparent to the user.
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
16F532 – Initial Release of new ADM. Older style ADM obsoleted.
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
15V024 – Fixes a few bugs associated with the ADM.
15V027 – Lowered amount of travel required before generating a pump timeout error.
Software Part Numbers and Versions:
15M410 – Human interface changed to not require the use of the Point LED’s on the Display module Membrane switch.
15027 – Added logic to retract pump if Interrupt/Cancel line activated if pump stalling to pressure.
15V024 – Foreign language capability added to the ADM
15V024, 15027 – Added Pressure transducer and flow meter capability for the ADM versions of the product.
