PSM Software Change History

PSM Distributed IO Controller 2002837

The Version History of the PSM  Distributed IO control version is listed below. The software currently installed on the PSM system can be found by navigating to Main Screen. Details on this screen can be found in PSM Operation Manual 3B0404.

All PSM (Distributed IO) systems should match one of the following system versions. If an upgrade to a newer software version is desired, follow the procedure below to download it to the screen and control board of PSM controller.

PSM software update procedure:

  1. Download the current version of software file (zip file)
  2. Unzip the file and copy them to mini SD card
  3. Power off the controller, open the cover of the controller and insert the SD card into the SD card slot of the screen
  4. Turn on the controller and the screen software will upgrade until ‘Completed’ is shown on the screen
  5. Turn off the controller, remove the SD card and insert it into the SD card slot of the main control board
  6. Turn on the controller and software on control board will upgrade until the screen displays the normal working interface
  7. Turn off the controller and remove the SD card

The Version History of the PSM Profinet control version is listed below. The software currently installed on the PSM system can be found by navigating to the Main Screen. Details on the screen can be found in PSM Operation Manual 3B0423.

All PSM (Profinet control) systems should match one of the following system versions. If an upgrade to a newer software version is desired, follow the procedure below to download the latest version of software to the screen and PLC of PSM controller.

PSM PLC software update procedure:

  1. Download the current version of software file (zip file)
  2. Power off the controller and remove the SD card from CPU module of PLC
  3. Unzip the file and copy files in folder ‘2009754E\PLC SD’ to the SD card of PLC CPU module
  4. Insert the SD card into the SD card slot of the CPU
  5. Turn on the controller as the update of PSM PLC software is now complete

PSM screen software update procedure:

  1. Download the current version of software file (zip file)
  2. Power off the controller and remove the USB memory from the screen
  3. Unzip the file and copy files in folder ‘2009754E\HMI USB’ to the USB memory
  4. Insert the USB memory into the screen
  5. Turn on the controller and push the ‘Setting’ button
  6. Select ‘Service & Commissioning’ and push the ‘Project Download’ button
  7. Push ‘Start Search’ button, go to the bottom of the page and push ’>’
  8. On step 2/4 and step 3/4, push ‘>”
  9. On step 4/4 push ‘Accept’ and screen program will download to the screen

All PSM (Ethernet IP control) systems should match one of the following system versions. If an upgrade to a newer software version is desired, follow the procedure below to download it to the screen and PLC of PSM controller.

PSM PLC software update procedure:

  1. Download the current version of software file (zip file)
  2. Power off the controller and remove the SD card from CPU module of PLC
  3. Unzip the file and copy files in folder ‘2010290C\PLC SD’ to the SD card of PLC CPU module
  4. Insert the SD card into the SD card slot of the CPU
  5. Turn on the controller as the update of PSM PLC software is complete
