Hose Does Not Heat

To avoid serious injury follow all warnings and instructions in the manual. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Connected hose uses RTD (resistance temperature detector) instead of a thermocouple.

The Gusmer proportioner requires standard, 2-component heated hoses with thermocouple.

FTS failed

Check FTS. See Repair Fluid Temperature Sensor (FTS), in manual.

FTS not installed correctly

FTS should be installed close to end of hose in same environment as gun. Verify FTS installation. See Repair Fluid Temperature Sensor (FTS), in manual.

Loose hose electrical connections

Check connections. Repair as necessary.

Circuit breakers tripped

Reset breakers CB3 and CB5. See Electrical Enclosure, in manual.

Hose zone not turned on

Turn on hose heat zone.

A and B temperature setpoints too low

Check setpoints. Increase if necessary.
