All Reactor 2 systems should match one of the following system versions.

If upgrade to newer software version is desired, order the appropriate "Software Upgrade Token" as listed below. This Upgrade Token is used to upgrade software on all of the system components per the procedure described in manual 3A1244. Alternatively, systems with software version 2.02.001 and later can follow the procedure in manual 3A6321 to download the latest version of software to a token.

 

NOTE: Upgrading software may clear some USB data (i.e. pump cycles, material volume, etc.)  It is recommended that a full USB download be completed before upgrading software.

  • K8NM (Locked Rotor) Alarm - Addressed software bug that could cause nuisance alarms.
  • A4NM (High Motor Current) Alarm - Smoothing of pump operation, particularly in low-flow and high-pressure spray conditions, greatly diminished occurrences of this alarm.
  • T3NM, V1CM, DE0X - Software was changed to reduce or eliminate the occurrence of these alarm codes.
  • Gear Noise - Tuning of motor control operation has greatly reduced "chatter", "grinding", and other gear noise, which was sometimes heard when the motor changes speeds.
  • Motor Stutter or Pressure Control issues - A software bug that occasionally caused pressure drop at motor start-up or mid-operation was identified and fixed.
  • Parking - A software bug causing systems to occasionally park incorrectly was identified and fixed.
